Tour Description: At Beijing Capital airport be met by our private guide and driver. Take about 1 hour’s drive from Beijing Airport to Mutianyu Great Wall and hike on the wall as long as you can. Mutianyu Great Wall is one popular section of the Great Wall but less crowded than other sections, well-known for its beautiful surroundings-the dense woods and rich pastures changing colors with the seasons of the year. After the tour, transfer you back to airport.

~Pick you up in time from Beijing Capital airport (PEK) or your hotel by our private tour guide and driver
~Drive to Mutianyu Great Wall (1 hour)
~Visit Mutianyu Great Wall (2-3 hours, you can decide to stay longer or shorter time)
~Transfer you back to Beijing Capital airport (PEK) or your hotel (1 hour)
If your time allows and you would like to have lunch, we can take you to local restaurant, please pay the meal cost on your own

We are two travelers arriving at Beijing Capital International Airport (PEK) on January 11, 2026 at 05:00 in the morning. Our connecting flight departs the same day at 12:55, giving us approximately an 8-hour layover.
We would like to ask whether it is possible to join a Great Wall layover tour during this time and still return to the airport with enough time to go through immigration, security, and other procedures before our flight.
Additionally, we are arriving from Thailand and will not have winter clothing with us. Is it possible to rent or purchase appropriate outerwear for the tour?

Both of you are Danish passport holders? If yes, you will have enough time to do the tour. Because Danish people do not need to apply for any visas, please just go through the immigration directly when you arrive. That will save some time.

arriving to PEK Beijing Capital at 2:20 at the night on 6th of April . Leaving at 14:00.
Is there a possibility to visit great wall? Badaling section of the great wall opens at 6:30 o’clock? So if we leave at 5, would we managed to back on time?
If yes, then are there any risks in being late to our flight?

According to your layover time, you will have plenty of time to visit the Great Wall.
I recommend you visit the Mutianyu section, which has good traffic and is close to the airport.
The Mutianyu Great Wall will open at 7am in April. So our earliest pick-up time is 6am. We will make sure that you get back to the airport on time.
