Tour Description: At Beijing Capital airport be met by our private guide and driver. Take about 1 hour’s drive from Beijing Airport to Mutianyu Great Wall and hike on the wall as long as you can. Mutianyu Great Wall is one popular section of the Great Wall but less crowded than other sections, well-known for its beautiful surroundings-the dense woods and rich pastures changing colors with the seasons of the year. After the tour, transfer you back to airport.
Tour Itinerary:
~Pick you up in time from Beijing Capital airport (PEK) or your hotel by our private tour guide and driver
~Drive to Mutianyu Great Wall (1 hour)
~Visit Mutianyu Great Wall (2-3 hours, you can decide to stay longer or shorter time)
~Transfer you back to Beijing Capital airport (PEK) or your hotel (1 hour)
If your time allows and you would like to have lunch, we can take you to local restaurant, please pay the meal cost on your own

Yes, according to your layover time, you might not be allowed to leave the airport because your layover time is short. It happened recently. Will you have another layover in Beijing when you return?
Yes, I will have another layover on my return of about 10h15 but in this case will I be able to leave the airport with a free visa or will i need to apply for a tourism visa, since it is a layover on my return. Thanks for your advice.

According to your layover time and our experience, you can get the transit visa, but it is all up to the immigration officers’ mind. We cannot guarantee it. If you want to make sure that you can leave the airport to take the tour, I suggest you apply for a tourist visa in advance. But you will have to pay for it.
