Tour Description: At Beijing Capital airport be met by our private guide and driver. Take about 1 hour’s drive from Beijing Airport to Mutianyu Great Wall and hike on the wall as long as you can. Mutianyu Great Wall is one popular section of the Great Wall but less crowded than other sections, well-known for its beautiful surroundings-the dense woods and rich pastures changing colors with the seasons of the year. After the tour, transfer you back to airport.
Tour Itinerary:
~Pick you up in time from Beijing Capital airport (PEK) or your hotel by our private tour guide and driver
~Drive to Mutianyu Great Wall (1 hour)
~Visit Mutianyu Great Wall (2-3 hours, you can decide to stay longer or shorter time)
~Transfer you back to Beijing Capital airport (PEK) or your hotel (1 hour)
If your time allows and you would like to have lunch, we can take you to local restaurant, please pay the meal cost on your own

We supply a professional driver and a car with licence as well as a professional English speaking licensed tour guide, both of them work for you. We will make sure you can enjoy a safe tour with professional English interpretation both during driving and in attractions, and would not waste your time for parking. Our driver will make sure your luggage is safe while you are not in the car.

I will be arriving in Beijing Capital Airport on Dec. 9 at 11:20am departing the next day at 11:00 am. I would definitely like to see the Wall on Dec. 9 plus probably one more tourist spot Forbidden City maybe could be more? Is this doable if I go on a tour say probably around 2pm onward?

Thank you for your asking!
The Forbidden City stop tickets at 15:30 in off season. So you would not catch it after you visit the Great Wall (vice versa). And according to your arriving time, as our experience, you can get through the customs and meet our guide at 13:00.
I recommend you visit Mutianyu Great Wall only. Or visit Mutianyu Great Wall and Hutongs.

I have two layover coming up in Beijing.
Layover 1: Nov 2, arriving in PEK with Air China at 6:35pm and leave with Air China 11/3 at 1:00am.
Layover 2: Dec 8, arriving in PEK with Air China at 6:10am and leave with Air China at 12:45pm.
Are any of these enough time to do the Great Wall tour?
