Tour Description: Beijing Capital airport (PEK) pick-up by our private guide & vehicle; Our English-speaking tour guide will hold a sign with your name on at the exit of the airport. Take about 1 hour drive to the Mutianyu Great Wall in our private vehicle. Mutianyu Great Wall is known as the most beautiful section of Great Wall and less crowded. Cable car up and toboggan slide down is optional. 2-2.5 hours stay at the wall. Then drive to the city center. Visit the world’s largest imperial palace complex-Forbidden City, palace ever lived by 24 Chinese emperors. After the trip, transfer back to airport for departure.

    I have an 8-hour layover at the Beijing airport, arriving at 5:30 am and leaving at my destination at 1:30 pm, I want to know if I have enough time to do a quick tour at Mutianyu Great Wall, it doesn’t matter if I’m only there 1 or 1.5 hrs,

    Hello, I’m interested in this tour but worried I won’t have enough time. I land in Beijing at 4:30 AM and depart the same day at 5:00 PM.

    Is that enough time to do this tour and still have the two hours necessary to check in for my international flight departing Beijing?

      Your arrival time is late. Most of Beijing attractions will be closed by then. We recommend you visit the Tiananmen Square and Hutong. We will send you an email about the tour details later, please check.

    We are arriving at Beijing Airport at 11:25, Sat. April 13 and have a layover of 22 hrs. and will be departing on Sun April 14 at 9:30 am. We will probably get the Air China Layover hotel. Which layover tour you would recommend. We would love to do both – The Wall and the F City. Will you also be able to pick us from the Air China Layover Hotel. Being Americans, I guess we will take 24 or 72 transit visa. Please advise.

      Your arrival time is late and the Forbidden City stop entering at 16:00 in April, so you would not have enough time to do both attractions if you spend time to the hotel first.

      I suggest we pick you up directly from the airport and load your luggage in our car, our driver will watch your luggage during the tour. And our guide will go with you to visit the attractions.

      That is why our company supply a professional driver and a car with licence as well as a professional English speaking licensed tour guide for the tour. (Not just an English-speaking driver with a personal’s car. That is illegal in China)
